U13 Girls
U13 Girls Update:
The U13’s had a most productive weekend pulling off a convincing 3-1 win over the Ambassadors, followed by a tough 2-2 draw with OP. During the first game, 3-1, Suzanne Ford continued on her goal scoring path with a confidently taken brace of goals, and a single opportunist goal was scored by Keeley Malone. During the OP game, Suzanne scored again and this time Courtney Favazzo got her name on the score sheet with a well taken effort. The players continue to try to implement their new found technical skills and Izzie Greene was able to execute the perfect ‘Frankie’ much to the confusion of the opposing defenders. The U13’s continue to train hard and diligently during each training session and all the girls have made productive development over the autumn season. Our sessions on physicality, strength, and toughness, in combination with the repetition of the required technical skills are certainly beginning to show. All the girls played well in both games; however, it was well noted that Melanie Bielicki continues to step up her game and was an absolute stalwart defender during both matches.
